I grab this candle whenever it’s available on Amazon. First of all, you can’t beat Amazon’s price for a large Yankee Candle! The packaging is perfect. This candle wouldn’t break during shipping unless the truck drove over it. The scent is a perfect combination of citrus, floral and just a bit of sweet, with none overpowering the other. This is a scent that I love all year. If I had to complain about anything, Yankee Candle doesn’t seem to burn as well as it used to. I usually end up burning the wick out before the wax is used up, even burning for short periods of time. Instead of throwing it out, I melt the leftover wax and make a new candle. Nothing gets wasted. I would still give 10 stars if I could!Total love!! Lilac is my favorite scent and this candle delivers. Bought it for myself but can be a great gift to someone else. Other candles leave me wanting so this is the one to get. Also, when candle was all done I cleaned jar out (hot water soak a bit) and put small sea shells inside for decoration. Looked great! They stayed clean because of the lid too. So, multipurpose product. Could use for cotton balls, wrapped candies, etc...When giving a candle gift I always give this one it last pretty long and the scent is beautiful! Everyone a gift to loves the smell! And I have to say the scent lasts in the room even after blowing the candle out, I can still smell it the next day!I would only buy Yankee at sale prices otherwise they're over priced. Tuscany candles at Fred Meyers are great and prices much better.I love the Yankee Candle brand but this one in particular doesn’t have much scent, I’ve tried it in a larger space and a smaller space but you’d never know there was a candle in the room because it doesn’t smell.The Yankee candles are the best value for the money because they burn perfectly, smell divine, and are very long lasting. I could easily smell the candles before I opened the box ! I've spent much more than 5 times the price for luxury scented candles but I can't deny that these smell just as good as new on the 110th hour of burn time. The wax makes the difference. Package is secure. Very impressed !I added these candles to my bridesmaid proposal baskets to match my purple theme and the scent just adds to how perfect these are! I bought personalized labels to put on them and everything worked out perfectly!If you like a delicate floral scent with a hint of sweetness this is the candle for you! It had a touch of sweetness but mostly smells like a rose. Love it!Yankee the perfect candles of all, they have in their time brought out various different candles containing lavender but to me this is the best.This is sweet heaven in a jar the pure smell of " Hitecote and Munstead " an all English lavender.They have a long burn time of 150 hours and the smell stays as strong right until the end of the jar.The candle also has odour eliminating properties within its ingredients and doesn't just mask smells, you can't go wrong with lavender especially if this Yankee fragrance is your first purchase its not artificial or nasty smelling like some other lavender fragrances on the market.Poppy's verdict- Go for it try it and let me know what you think? This is pure indulgence a jar of sweet magic.This is my favourite fragrance and I understood it had been 'retired'. It was just by chance that I did a search under lilac that it came up so I ordered two.It was a bit expensive fir postage but I think they came from the US and when you think each candle gives you 150 hours of burning time it is well worth it. With Yankee candles you get the fragrance all the way to the end, it is just a matter of burning them correctly, i.e. always burn the candle until the melted wax reaches the jar, that way it won't tunnel and you will get a full 150 hours.Big let down thought it would be strong in scent however you can bearly smell it! Gutted as I like lavender especially in the bedroom before bed find it very relaxing have to burn for a good two to three hrs before u can really smell anything, will not buy this one again, will say tho that it was packed well and delivered very fast.What a huge disappointment. I ordered 3 of these at the same time. I received the first one intact and was very pleased with the actual item. It leaves a lovely scent all over the home and the candle burns really well. I was absolutely appalled at the packaging for such a delicate item. The glass candle came with no bubble wrap, absolutely nothing to protect it except a small box placed inside a bigger one with a bit of paper in between. This means that it would rock from side to side in the bigger box in delivery. Unsurprisingly the second two I recieved a few days later, were smashed to bits when I opened the box. This is dangerous and could have caused harm due to neglect and lack of care in packaging.This has an amazing long-lasting scent of lavender And it’s really comforting. It makes the whole house smell lovely and I’m a regular buyer. If you like the smell of lavender by this. Comes highly recommended.
