Makes making popcorn so much easier. Love that the kids can use the pump as well if neededI am glad I picked this up for my home theater and popcorn machine. It really adds to the movie theater popcorn experience. My only complaints are that the spout is too short so you have to tilt your buckets and rotate it around to get an even distribution of the butter and the butter doesn't spray out as smooth as I would like. Sometimes you have to work at it a bit. Over all, I am satisfied.Update: After only about 10 uses of this product, the plastic tube that suctions the butter out of the container and into the spout just split in half. I went to use the thing one night and it wasn't suctioning any butter out so I lifted out the spout and saw the problem. I called the manufacturer a few weeks ago, left a voice message but never received a return call. So I had to take it some stars away because after only a few uses, the item is useless not to mention that I haven't heard back from the company.Great for warming all sorts of toppings. I've used it for Popcorn butter, Nacho Cheese, and Chocolate spread. It is easy to clean, and heats up quickly. My only gripe with this unit in particular is that the tube doesn't go all the way down into the reservoir, which always causes a loss of whatever you are warming to serve. It's not so much an issue for cheaper condiments, but for more expensive condiments there is quite a bit of wasted product that is hard to use without waiting for the unit to cool off and then scraping it out. While it was the least expensive option, I would not recommend this if it's intended for a lot of regular use. An occasional party or home use would be ideal, but not for a commercial kitchen.I purchased this pump to use in the concession stand at our neighborhood pool. The pump straw was too long, but luckily I had read another review recommendation to trim it by about 1/4" and it worked. But after a week the rounded top of the pump handle came unscrewed exposing the spring mechanism inside. After fixing that as well, it just stopped working and pulling cheese up all together. When it is first turned on, it takes about an hour at full heat to get the cheese sauce warm enough to run freely through the pump. But if it is left on full heat it burns the cheese inside. Cleaning the pump is not easy because the straw that sucks up the cheese from the bottom does not detach so you have to spray it out or use a small brush like you would on baby bottles.I have sent it back for a replacement because of the pump that stopped priming. Hopefully that was just a defect, but it is still not the most efficient model.I have gone through a couple of these pumps for my movie theater. The first worked relatively well for about two years, where I would fix an issue every couple months, then it stopped heating up entirely. The replacement I bought has been working on and off for almost a year, but I am now searching for a completely different pump because I'm tired of it breaking right when we need it and having to fix it. The biggest issue I keep having is with the pump mechanism. The flap that closes to keep air from filling the chamber and pumps the butter out is poorly designed and weakens fast. When this happens it won't pump anything out no matter how hard you try. Other than that, one major beef I have with the pump is the length of the spout. It's not long enough to quickly or evenly distribute butter on a standard theater size bag of popcorn. Apart form the mechanism, it's relatively easy to clean, but I would not recommend this for daily or commercial use. It's also pretty small for theater use. This is a decent project. I bought this for two reasons. One: it was the cheapest one I could find. Two: it had decent reviews. I love popcorn. I mean I REALLY love popcorn, so when I first used it and it was difficult to pump and then spurted out the butter I was a little disappointed! But hey, like I said, I wasn't expecting much! It does warm it up and after a couple of pumps it gets easier. I just wish the arm was longer to reach larger popcorn bowls as this one just squirts the buttter in one spot if you have a larger bowl. It’s just big enough for family movie night , to make hot buttered popcornI really can't weigh in on this product. It's not advertised for what I wanted to use it for but I went on people reviews. I wanted to use this for warming and serving nacho cheese from. This is way too small for nacho cheese if you are using it to entertain. I bought this for the 4th of July to make BBQ Nachos but I ended up using a crock pot. I will be returning it.
