Our beeswax comes from a global supplier that has every beekeeper trained in best beekeeping practices. COCONUT OIL Pure expeller pressed coconut oil is sustainably sourced from Malaysia, the Philippines, and Indonesia and is the perfect creamy base to hold our essential oils. PURE ESSENTIAL OILS Our therapeutic essential oils are generally collected through a distillation process that carefully separates the essential oil from the medium element where it is found. Our Natural Bath Soaks, Lip Balms, and Soap Bars are a delightful treat. We’re using simple and pure ingredients, all listed on the packaging. Coconut oil and shea butter for hydration, ethically harvested beeswax, and our own blends of pure essential oils. We were thinking about the environment when it comes to our packaging, using compostble and naturally bio-degradable materials, FSC certified papers, and vegetable-based inks. The MADE SAFE seal confirms that a household product is free of any and all toxins known or suspected to harm human health, animals, or ecosystems. Why can’t essential oil candles fill a room with scent? Essential oils are extremely flammable so we are limited to how much oil we can use to scent our candles. Without the chemicals used in traditional fragrances, it is nearly impossible to make an essential oil candle that is as strong as a fragrance oil candle. We do market all of our candles as "lightly scented" in relation to the strength of a traditional fragrance oil candle. Even our "strong" options will smell light in comparison to most fragrance candles. Are your candles safe for pets? We love our fur babies here at Fontana, and we are proud that every one of our candles is 100% safe for pets. The concentrations of oils in the candles and wax melts are low enough that they do not cause issues. Are the bees harmed for the production of your beeswax? We buy our beeswax from a global supplier that has a Beekeepers trained in best beekeeping practices. Sustainability and the health of the hive is of upmost concern to our supplier, because the best quality beeswax comes from healthy hives!
