I was reluctant to make this purchase based on some of the reviews here, but these window candles are great. They arrived one day after I ordered them, and they were well-packaged. I ordered a pack of 6 plus 2 individuals for my windows for year-round use (everyone in our neighborhood does the colonial Williamsburg look all year long). The lights look beautiful. They all worked, and 6 extra bulbs were included with six suction cups. I do not need to use the suction cups. The candles might tip over because they are not heavy, but I've never used candles that didn't tip--a little tape or clever rigging will take care of that. (I guess I could also try the suction cups in the winter when the windows aren't open). The candles are nevertheless sturdier than any I've gotten in the past at retail stores like Target or the grocery store.Think about whether you need the on/off switch--I should have gotten those for all the bedrooms where my family members don't like the lights on at night. I think you can feel confident purchasing these for the holidays or year-round use. I liked that there was a choice.I just ordered a few more as backups.
