These are too expensive for the quality. I paid 70 for the pair of lamps and was really disappointed.When you screw the lampshades on, they don’t hang straight at all, which makes them look pretty ridiculous.The lamp stand itself is made of metal. You can touch just about anywhere on the black metal parts to make the lamp turn on, which is nice, but you often have to tap multiple times to get it turn on, to iterate through the brightness levels, and turn them off. It’s also annoying that it gets brighter as you tap, especially when you’re winding down to sleep. It would’ve been better if they start on the brightest setting, then dimmed down as you tap them to turn them off. The brightness settings are also not even; in other words, the difference in brightness between the highest brightness setting and the medium brightness setting is about half of that between the dimmest setting and medium setting, so it doesn’t brighten evenly, which just seems odd.Lastly to add to the cheap quality feel of them, the black metal parts came with small scratches on them, and were very dusty. Wiping them down with a damp cloth helped with the dust, but made the scratches more apparent. If I’d paid 25-30 for the pair of them, it wouldn’t have seemed so bad, but 70 is just way too much for this low level of quality.They are nice for the price. One lamp is not attached to the base straight. Guess I can live with the imperfectionThese seemed like cool lamps when I bought them and they do LOOK cool but I didn’t give enough thought as to the brightness that might come with a lamp that was basically unshaded. There is a frosted glass “shade” but it lets WAY too much light come through on the medium and hi settings. The bulb may just as well be a bare bulb. The light is harsh and not at all cozy. I use them as nightlights in my den because the very lowest setting is the warmest. However, they are pretty sturdy and I like touch control. That’s about all I like, though. I’ll probably replace them with something else.We love them. They take up less space on the nightstands than what we had previously, and they are far easier to clean. They're stylish, we love the ability to plug in our devices and change the brightness. Very happy with the purchase.iIlike shades that do not show bulbs. These are great for our guest room and for guests to plug in their phones.I painted them silver. Love them. The touch lights are great! Could use them anywhere. A real space saver too.This is absolutley perfect for a bedside. It's easy to touch and the dimming is fantastic.It comes with a yellow(daytime) light.. I switched it to a blue white light.These table lights are quaint, giving a sort of nu0vintage look to your home with its overall shape. I used to love having touch dimmable lights from childhood and was glad to stumble on these. Though they aren't the same style, they work the same, needing only a minimal touch to change the amount of light the lamps give off. I don't have a phone that charges wirelessly, other devices I own that have wireless charging have no issues with these lamps. The two USB ports let me charge other devices that require a tethered connection and I have had no problems from using a micro USB or a type-C cable to charge.
