I was a little skeptical when I opened the box because it kind of looked plastic-y. However, once you get the light bulb in it changes everything. It then looks like a really expensive lamp and the colors are absolutely gorgeous. I would order again.Absolutely gorgeousThis item is a fine lamp. It may be a "Turkish" inspired design but it fits in many different styles without being obviously ethnic. Uses a "candelabra" size bulb (E25/E26 socket). Work with "flame" style bulbs, Edison style, or even Christmas light bulbs (C7 size). We suggest a low wattage bulb so as not to detract from the beautiful lamp. The metal "bib" at the top of the globe is removable if you don't want it but we feel it adds a great deal of charm. The lamp switch is on the power cord.Very pretty. Can’t go wrong with Turkish lampsLove this little lamp. I got it to use in my living room as a night light. I'm using an LED candelabra size bulb in it and it's much brighter than I was expecting, which is perfect. I got the pink one but I'm sure the others are just as lovely. Much sturdier than I expected and easy to put together. Make sure you put the bulb in first because it's hard to get apart again. I would also suggest the LED bulb since they last much longer than regular bulbs, so you don't have to take it apart as often.Easy to assemble, gorgeous lampI purchased this as a gift. I arrived quickly, was easy to assemble, wonderful craftsmanship and it is extremely beautiful. I highly recommend this lamp. I think I will purchase one for myself!Firstly, my wife is the person who wanted this lamp and she enjoys it greatly. She loves the Turkish styling and the cracked glass look.I also like the design, but hate how the light translates through the glass. It is somehow very bright without illuminating the room well, and casts very harsh shadows. So, if you want this lamp to serve as a... Well.... Lamp.. I would recommend taking this into consideration.If you want a nice looking piece to fit your theme and don't really care about the function, this will serve you well. It is a beautiful piece.The lamp is really beautiful when you turn it on, but unfortunately I did not like how it looked when it was off. The white grout is too prominent; I wish it was either coloured darker, or had more glass in between to hide it better. Since I wanted a lamp that looked nice both on and off, I ended up returning this one. If the seller had been more explicit about how the lamp looked when it is off, I would not have ordered it and they could have saved themselves a return.It’s cute but not as pictured. In the pictures the material around the glass pieces is black but on mine it’s white. Looks cheap almost like a children's school project. Not sure if I’ll keep it. Looks nice when on but not so much when off.I absolutely love this lamp. The colours are so intense. I'm really pleased with the quality and the way it looks. I may try a higher watt bulb in it, so it throws more light.I will be ordering another one of these. Maybe more.Such a beautiful lamp, gives off a good amount of light and projects the pattern on to the walls it is close to! Will definitely buy again as a gift for friends!Very nice. Love it.
