Just perfect for a small to medium desk lamp.This is a beautiful shade, but it was crinkled and squashed from shipping.I'd return it but in my effort to fix it, I made it worse.Used for bedroom lamp and not happyLoving the lamp shade, variety of sizes and styles, fast shipping and the value. THNX!!I was hesitant in buying this lamp shade due to reviews; several customers said that the shade was cheap and/or were pink when lit and/or it was crushed. I had none of these problems. In fact, I think the shade is absolutely perfect. I purchased the white with gold thread for an antique lamp that I had. It was sturdy, and it shows enough light when turned on. The shades (bought 2) came in an Amazon box with no cushion but, surprisingly, it wasn't crushed. I absolutely love the shade!I like the look and feel of this lamp shade. It deserves a 5 star, but I gave it a 4 simply because (for my lamp), it should have been 1 inch longer. It does not look cheap and the gold thread is not prominent which I was afraid of. It looks classy. :-)I had measured the height & width for a thin side table in entryway.
