I'm thrilled with the secure, conscience packing sent in a proper shipping box because candle arrived in perfect condition. Scent is quite subjective so, for me, the scent is a lovely, light Lavandar that doesn't overwhelm. The candle burned for 4 hours and is still active for re-lighting. It has a secure, removable attached lid one can put under the candle to protect furniture and from accidentally sliding it around. The lid also helps to snuff the candle when it's time to blow it out.I typically purchase tea lights or a larger, jar size. But I only buy Yankee Candles (as my grandparents and parents had) because they are the best for over 50 years of candle purchasing. Giftable, most definitely.
