I bought this for my sister for her birthday and she absolutely loves it. It looks very nice and it does not look cheap although the price is good.At first I was challenged thinking I can’t assemble them but then I started and the directions were clear and on point.The lamp itself is a great product from a very smart design, with well engineered parts and users in mind for easy assembly but sturdy. Overall to my opinion, a great piece of Neoclassical design product, worth the money, and esthetically valuable; and more important, excellent customer-oriented post-sales support services, customer-caring and quick responses in details to my questions. 2-thumbs up!!I was really surprised by how well executed this lamp was. I took a gamble and bought it used. The box had been opened but all of the parts were still in their sealed packaging. The legs are attached to the lamp base/bracket with cam type stainless screws. This makes for really securely attached legs since it's not threaded into the wood. The legs are in three pieces that have an overlap joint with cam screws again here.The shade is a nice warmish gray color. It comes flat and I was worried that the curves wouldn't go away but it smoothed right out. The overlap joint on the shade fabric is secured with velcro.The shade frame is in 3 sections that are joined with plastic tubing. I thought it was weak looking but it went together very sturdy.I took away one star because there isn't a shade retaining ring on the socket eventhough it is threaded for one. It would also be nice if they provided some ties to secure the cord to the legs.But I was impressed with how nicely it went together and how sturdy it is once assembled. Great deal!This comes in a small box, box size being so small kind of surprising when you receive it but it assembles quick and easy and looks great. I have this in my office, didn't want to spend a ton but wanted something that looks good - both targets acheived.Really nice floor lamp. It has soft lighting and it looks good in a very mid century modern living room.The achilles heal of this lamp without a doubt is the leg design.Each leg is divided into 3 pieces so they an cut cost on shipping.This wouldnt be a problem is all the peices fit together seamlessly but they dont and you can tell the legs are multiple peices.The power switch is also the cheapest thing they could find so I only consider this lamp if your installing a smart bulb and using voice command.Overall I would recommend you spend a little more and buy the Lauters Lamp from Ikea.Its nearly the same price and blows this one out of the waterEsta muy bonita.
