Installed in a small brass nightstand lamp, I had to enlarge the hole in the bottom to fit the unit into the base, and I drilled a small screw hole in the back to attach the sensor wire. Every application will be unique, but with a little ingenuity, it works great!I have two old touch lamps ,so I ordered this 2-pack . "WRONG !" I hooked one up and " POP " . Make sure you have the correct info off your old module before you order . Now I have a module that I can not use !Seems better than the originalInstructions were very sketchy, could have been much clearer. Once installed, one lamp works perfectly, the other has had intermittent issues.Easy to install and works greatEasy to install, Good PriceI used with a 30 watt G9 LED bulb even though the rating said ((up to 25 watts,)) which I could not find in G9 5000K. All the rest of the dimmers either do not say or you have to zoom in on picture of case to see that they do not accomodate LED bulbs but this one does due to new design.Works great on LED or standard bulbs. Being a 5 volt difference in output at 30 watts on my LED bulb vs 25 watt max rating for LED ((when in off position)) it barely lights the LED's so dim you can only barely tell when room is dark, no worries, and just a very dim blow which is pleasant. My other lower wattage LED G9 went totally off when in off position. Great buy and the only buy from what I can see with new design for LED bulbs.
