You can't put any thick towels on the rack due to the fan part the drops down. Your towel only gets warm in on place. It's more of a pain than anything we will be returning it.I've had a towel warmer rack installed in our bathroom for years. We rarely use it however as it tends to overheat and "cook" our towels where they are draped over the rods. It only has an on/off button and no temperature adjustments. If it did we would likely use it a lot more. This one is different in that it is more of a hair dryer blowing down on your towels. It gets the job done over a period of time but as you can imagine, it heats the top of the towel much more than the lower parts. Still it is not bad for wash clothes however and dries them quickly. The UV feature is pretty neat. You don't want to be in the room while it is running however. You can set your toothbrushes flat on the hooks and UV them too. Overall it is a unique idea. I think for some people and situations it will be great. For me I won't be using it on a daily basis either.I've had a towel warmer on my radar for a while, so getting this one was a pleasant surprise. I wasn't sure what to expect, but my expectations were definitely exceeded because of all the features included here. Assembly is as easy as putting together a normal towel hanger, and operation is intuitive enough to not need the manual. While you can use the drying function with no heat, the warmer on this is irresistible. The timer will keep it heating towels for up to two hours, but it only takes a few minutes to get towels warm, and the motion sensor keeps you from getting blasted with hot air when you pass by it. Needless to say, it's a hit with the family. We keep it running all afternoon because we all use it and it still heats as effectively as it did on day one. For the warmest, and most comfortable towels for after a shower or getting out of the pool, look no further. We're already looking forward to getting a second one! This one is my second towel warmer that I installed in my guest bathroom. That bathroom is smaller than the master bath attached to my bedroom so having this one that fit the space I had for it was perfect. The heated towel rack in my bathroom is more "traditional" in that it is longer, holds several towels (though only heats a couple well) and was also easy to install as this one was. This one has hooks which I really like that my master bath towel rack does not have. This one was mounted above the guest bathroom's toilet - the tub is right next to it and was the only really good place to mount it. It works great where it is - I tested how well it heats the towel placed on it as well as assisting in drying a wet towel and it works great. Of course, the drying of a wet towel is sort of dependent on the humidity level at the time...I mean, if it's raining outside with 100% humidity and you place a wet towel to dry, more than likely, it's not going to dry the towel well until the humidity level goes down. Just saying...but this towel rack works well and I'm happy with it.Awe dang! This looked so fantastic. Everything is awesome except the motor which is VERY LOUD not only is it loud it makes extra sounds too. UGH! It's also huge. It would be ok if it was quiet.I installed a heated towel warmer in the wife bathroom last month and she saw this one and had to have it. I was thinking it was a impulse buy but I must say it really is a step up from a standard towel warmer and the touch screen is awesome. You may be thinking do I need all of these features ? The answer is yes you just do not know you need them until you have them. My wife loves it and I would buy it again. 5 STARSI like this Sharndy Intelligent Towel Warmer. I installed it in our master bathroom. It was easy to install, it needs to use a standard electrical outlet. It has a great design - made from Aluminum Alloy and the touch screen is easy to use. It looks great - very clean and modern! It also has a lot of features - Drying, UV, Timer, Human sensing. I think the human sensing function is important especially with kids -and it is working well. Overall very happy with it!
