I purchased this as a Christmas gift for a friend of my family. She called me the next day and told me there were a lot of scratches & smudges that did not seem to come off. She said she would keep the set did not want me to have to go out of my way to return. She did send me the photos which I have included with my review. Disappointed with this product. Buyer’s beware and check the item if it is a gift.Not very happy for the price I paid.One of the candles - the large one - does not work at all - the other two do. Please provide a replacement on the larger unit - thank you.These candles are very easy to set up. When I turned them on for the first time, I noticed the light was slightly off. I just off set this with some foliage. It is a lot better now. I do love the sliver mercury look. I have received compliments from friends about them. They do look very nice. They have lasted throughout the Christmas season without a hitch. I only took the one star off for the slight misalignment of the light other than that they are at a great price.These flameless candles are really pretty on display for holiday’s. The remote works great and is useful. You will need 6 AA batteries (2 in each candle) in order to operate. I haven’t had to change battery’s yet, but also don’t keep these on all day long. I like that you can choose a flickering light or keep the light constant with no “real” candle light effect. I removed a star because these smelled like spray paint when I opened the box. The smell disappeared eventually, but wasn’t a fan of it.Recommend for holiday time!They flicker realistically. Battery life is good, and they look solid, and real, among the Christmas ornaments in our den. We are quite pleased with this set.Well batteries aren't included so you'll need 6 batteries to get these running. The glass candle is really beautiful though and the snowflakes glow when turned on. Very classy Christmas decor pieces.
