Quite honestly, I thought I was buying a Yankee candle when I bought this. Maybe I should have returned being I made the mistake but I thought I’d try it out. Great scent, very strong, aromatic like I like, but I’ve never liked twin wicks for starters. I tried a Yankee with twin wicks, one and didn’t like it the way it burned and gave it to a female neighbor to see if she liked it. This Village after first lighting burns good at first, then it gets weak flames like the twin wick just like the Yankee. Like the scent, strong like I said before. I’ll try it again tomorrow morning and judge it completely, then decide whether to give it away also. Like my motto all my life, stick with what you know! One wick jar style Yankee candles rule!I absolutely love this candle, it smells very strongly like a fresh brewed pot of coffee with a very slight hint of sweet caramel and I can already tell it's going to last awhile. Very large jar candle with double wicks, a great substitute to Yankee for specific scents. Definitely recommend.I will keep this brief. It legit smells like coffee is brewing in the house. Amazing and comforting.Smells awesome and and burns down completely! Worth every penny no waste at all, one of the best candles I Ever bought! One of the best coffee candles I have had yet. Does have more of a chocolate scent but enough coffee too. Perfect for any coffee lover.I was really excited to find a coffee candle, they are hard to find. But this does not smell like coffee at all. It smells sweet like maple. So if you like a sweet maple smell then buy it. But if you are searching for a true coffee scent this is not itAs others have stated, it has more of a maple syrup or cinnamon roll scent than it does coffee. It's not a bad smell, just not as expected. It's a candle... Is about all I can say about this product. I wanted to purchase a really strong smelling coffee scented candle because like so many others on this review board, I don't like coffee but I love the smell. Read many reviews here and was excited at the thought of what I read. However what I got was mediocre at best. Fast delivery but whether I got a bad or old candle I don't know but it just wasn't strong at all. Infact a candle I bought from dollar general for 5 dollar smelt FAR superior and thats a rarity in my experience. Whether it was old or a bad batch or skimmed off the top of a batch, whith this price I cannot warrant a second try at this company. Maybe if the price drops to 5 dollars or under. Hope this helps. BlessingsNot sure about this one.Yes it does smell authentic, but to me it smells more like burnt coffee grounds or burnt beans rather than freshly brewed coffee. It's does have hints of bitter dark chocolate, but it's more of a bitter dark roast ( a bit like an Italian roast) then freshly brewed cup of java. I guess it depends on the kind of coffee scent you're after, I don't think I'll be buying this again, but I'm happy to use it.it does have a decent throw and it's not overpowering in my living room, it's just not quite what I was after. My favourite Candle. It fills all house with really nice smell of coffeewith a bit of biscuity smell. Burns evenly. I like village candles more then yankee candles now. I like their range and the intensity of aromas.I bought this for a friend for christmas and she loves it. It's a great size and will last a long time, plus the scent fills the room.I love the smell of fresh ground coffee and this is just like it. Yankee did roasted coffee some years ago and Village candle version is as good as. Are they the same company? Same jar and labels? Can't tell the difference in the quality.Lovely coffee smell while burning but the day after my living room smelt like a curry house and stale coffee. Probably won't be buying this particular coffee candle again because of the smell left after.
