I had this lamp for 4 years now and it still works fine. Had it stored for a while too, for 1 year. I see lots of people saying the display doesn't work anymore after 2 years, don't listen to them because what they need to do is REPLACE THE BATTERY IF THE DISPLAY IS NOT WORKING, Yes even if it is plugged in it needs a battery for the clock and alarm to work properly. So overall its a very good lamp but I'm just going to point out the stuff I didn't like about it:1.- As I already said, It needs a battery to work properly (which you need to replace every 2 years or so).2.- The buttons are "touch" only which makes the design smooth and nice but not very useful when you are trying to turn on the lamp in the dark, either a little dot braille like bumps or button texture would be a nice to guide you to the power button in the dark. (I added some square frame like texture around the buttons with a glue gun and it doesn't look nice but it works.)3.- this an outdated design, as I said I bought this 4 years ago and not sure if its older than that, so maybe you can find something more modern with wireless charging or USB-C kind of stuff.Only one alarm tone and I can't hear it when wide awake in silent houseI'm someone who needs the room to be mostly if not totally dark at night. This light is fantastic during the day with very visible LED screen, but you can't dim or turn it off and when you close the light, it doesn't seal the screen so there's still a good amount of blue light leaking out.Overall really like this lamp. Two reasons I didn't give it 5 stars is because while you can lift the top up to angle in back it would be nice if the stand part would also angle back some. It is also a fingerprint magnet, you barely touch it a bam fingerprint.This lamp really is good, I don't know what else to say. Provides light in different shades and brightness. I like the touch aspect rather than having buttons. Great product.Good light nice to have the different levels and tones. It was really hard to get the clock screen to come up. The instructions say normal mode. What does that mean? But I got it going eventually. Works great. Have yet to charge anything.I really like the lamp EXCEPT the purpose I bought this particular brand was because of the clock, temp, and date. But ITS NOT WORKING! The lamp is pretty, light weight, decorative, and very bright! I appreciate all those things very much, but I am extremely displeased with the screen display not working! I don't want to complain because overall I think its great but if the main reason I picked it was because of this particular feature and now it doesn't work. The thing about shopping online is getting defective items and it bugs my soul because then its up to the consumer to replace and go thru extra when they have spent their hard earned money...I just want the functional product that I paid for.*****You have to pull the paper out to actually start the battery function for the timer, alarm, and display to be activated. I thought because the screen was already on, the 'digit' would be too. BUT ITS NOT! PULL THE LITTLE PAPER! NOW IAM A HAPPY CUSTOMER!!! AND I HIGHLY REC!!!Between my CPAP machine, Alarm clock and bedside lamp my night stand was pretty crowded. Not only does this replace 2 of those items, it has a smaller footprint than either of the 2 items it replaces. The only drawback that I have found so far is that the clock display is on or off. When on in a dark room it is pretty bright with no way to dim it.Fonctionne très bien et plusieurs choix de luminositéI can't get the clock to stay on time. You set it , and 1 hr later it gas moved like 20 minutes.Not to pleased. It about 2 weeks old.Need to return this because not working at all when i tried to set up the clock..no sign of numbers whatsoever
