I suppose like millions of other Yankee Candle fans I am torn. I absolutely LOVE their products. Especially this Midsomer candle. No other scented candles really compare. But, alas, the Yankee Candle Company is well aware...thus these prices. They just seem a little to steep. Sure there are times when you can catch a bargin or discount but by and large is you want a specific scent and/or product, you'll be shelling out. I suppose the problem for me is that on top of the price tag, these candles don't last especially long. Maybe if there was more longevity it would take some sting out of the priceLove the product, been supportive so many years, great scents and longevity. Wish they’d check products before shipping out. Purchased 5 jar candles, one melted to side of jar. Useless..! To give as gifts!Driving to find a UPS, with gas prices?, to return a candle such a waist of time… cancelling return.Thanks Yankee, pls check products before shipping.I am a loyal fan of Yankee candle for the past 20+ years. This is easily one of my favorite cents and a great value for the size of the candle. I burn my daily for 2 to 3 hours per day and it has been lasting for months now.This candle has a wonderful, clean scent and it is noticeable nice. No complaints here, and now I am going to buy another one to gift so they can enjoy one too.Love this soft clean scent and how the scent lingers after the flame is extinguished.It really makes my apt smell goodI have a few Yankee favorites and this is one of them. That way I know to continue writing reviews in a similar fashion :)I brought this as a present as my partner loves the smell of it. she says it smells like man :).They do appear to be very popular and I struggled to find this size candle any cheaper so in terms of price id say it was slightly better at the time I purchased this (but prices on Amazon do fluctuate).In terms of the smell, I do agree it is very nice, not to potent, but strong enough to fill the room.I also know that the craft lovers amongst you will certainly be able to use the empty pot for something creative.The candle is very nice and scent is pleasant, however, I think although a nice smell it doesn’t really match the description or the colour. It conjures up more a mountain fresh feeling, or a bathroom air freshener smell... I haven’t decided yet. Wondering if this is why it was on offer ?Absolutely shocking waste of money no fragrance rubbish wick better candle from Home bargains for £2.99Waited ages for delivery and when it arrived it was broken as soon as I opened it. It smelled lovely even though I didn't even get to light it. Had to send back. Absolutely gutted as was a present for Christmas.
